Sunday Morning Gathering

Here we worship in an open & free environment.  We are not tied to a formal liturgy, a set list of songs to sing or the clock.  We worship to declare to the Living God that we believe that He is worthy of worship.  We also worship to call Him into our presence and anticipate that God the Holy Spirit will “show up” and speak to us.  We also spend time in teaching.  This may be a systematic verse by verse study of a Biblical book or passage.  It may be a series on a Biblical subject.  It may simply be a topic of importance to our congregation and our lives.

The goal is to be Biblically accurate and to connect faith and life.  Prayer is an important part of our Sunday morning gathering.  We simply “open the floor” for all to participate.  We also share “faith stories”.  These are examples from everyday life of how and where we see God at work.  These stories encourage us in our daily lives as we live out God’s plan for His world.
